Denizli Exporters Association supports The TUBITAK Project about “The Evaluation and Definition of Towel Quality”

The Evaluation and Definition of Towel Quality Project conducted in collaboration with Pamukkale University and Kyoto Technology Institute is supported by Denizli Exporters Association within the scope of the activities about "Turkish Towels” brand salience.

In this context, between 17th and 21st of June, 2018, a delegation consisting of the academicians expert in textile products' evaluation visited Denizli. The delegation in the leadership of Prof. Dr. Yüksel İkiz from Pamukkale University, Department of Textile Science made observations and examinations in towel producing factories in Denizli to recognize and analyze the specialities of Towels of Denizli.

Besides, the delegation consisting of Japanese academicians visited Denizli Exporters Association on 18th of June, 2018 and took apart in the meeting with Board members of Denib. Mr Hüseyin Memişoğlu, President of Denib; Mr İbrahim Uzunoğlu, Vice President of Denib; Mr Selim Yaymanoğlu, Accounting Member of Denib and Mrs Mukaddes Başkaya, Mr. Cüneyt Demirkan and Mr Osman Uğurlu as Board Members hosted the delegation.

After the presentation about "The objective and subjective evaluation of the towel quality” made by Atsushi Sakuma as an academician from Kyoto Technology Institute; the ideas about the sector were exchanged one another. In addition to the presentation, in the meeting it is emphasized that choosing and testing the towels from Denizli according to the variety of specifications for evaluation and reportage will be very beneficial for Denib's activities about "Standardization of Turkish Towels”.
