Our 10-Year Turkish Towels Journey Continues with Turkish Airlines Flights
Denizli, which made its first export 2,000 years ago in the textile sector and the central hub of home textile production and export today as well, is striding confidently toward the future with inspiration from its past. Denizli, holding the top rank nationwide in towel, bathrobe, and bed linen exports for years, focuses on various communication initiatives with the new evolving face of the "Turkish Towels" branding project—launched to turn Turkish towels into a global brand—for the past 10 years; it continues its journey on world stages from the United States to the Gulf countries, and from Europe to the Middle and Far East.
On this journey, 'Turkish Towels' has now reached the skies and is counting down the days for the chance to meet passengers. Our collaboration plans to offer Turkish Towels branded towels for experience of business class passengers are nearing completion.
The project, implemented by the Denizli Exporters Association (DENİB) with the support of the Ministry of Trade's Turquality program, has been featured at some of the world's most prestigious trade fairs, international sporting events, and globally recognized promotional campaigns. Turkish Towels has further advanced its brand journey by showcasing the quality of Turkish towels to the world through advertising campaigns and exclusive studio shoots broadcast on Turkish Airlines flights.
DENİB President Hüseyin Memişoğlu commented on the Turkish Towels brand and the ongoing Turquality project, stating:
One of the most important elements of competition in global trade today is building strong brands. Strong brands mean greater market share, higher added value, and sustainable growth. With this understanding, we launched our 'Turkish Towels' project with Turquality project support of Ministry of Trade. Our goal is to elevate Turkish towels to rightful place globally, increase recognition, and create a trustworthy brand image for consumers.
After a decade, we can confidently say that 'Turkish Towels' has become more than just a brand. It has become a global showcase for Turkish towels, representing the superior quality, elegant aesthetics, unique production and design culture.
Global Promotional Activities Extending from Fairs to Sports Arenas
We've participated in some of the world's most prestigious trade fairs. Our "Turkish Towels" brand has been featured at events like Heimtextil in Germany, Canton in China, and Index in Dubai. These events have assisted us bringing our quality to a wider audience, both among industry professionals and final consumers.
Additionally, we carried out various promotional campaigns during New York Market Week organizations held in the USA.
In addition to trade fairs, we have elevated our brand's name globally through international sponsorships. Notably, during the Euroleague Final Four sponsorship, the use of Turkish Towels-branded towels on the court enabled us to reach millions of people worldwide. Through over 200 live-broadcast matches, many consumers were introduced to the "Turkish Towels" brand.
Similarly, we ensured our brand became synonymous with the dynamism and energy of sports with the preference of Turkish Towels logo towels for the WTA Tennis Tournament, we further ensured that our brand was identified with the dynamism and energy of sports. Thus, we demonstrated to the world that Turkish towels represent not only quality but also prestige, strength, and a global lifestyle on the international stage.
With these events, we emphasized that the Turkish towel is not just a textile product, but an indicator of lifestyle and quality.

One of the most exciting recent developments for us has been the promotional ads we publish on Turkish Airlines flights. Thanks to Turkish Airlines, we have the opportunity to reach millions of passengers. In short, through our partnership with Turkish Airlines, we are writing our brand across the sky to the world.

We are also continuing our discussions with Turkish Airlines as part of our various communication initiatives. We are nearing completion regarding the upcoming launch of Turkish Towels logo towels for business class passangers on Turkish Airlines flights to the US, and passengers will soon have the opportunity to experience Turkish towels.
