DENİB Participates in the 62nd Damascus International Fair

62nd Damascus International Fair, held in Damascus, the capital of Syria, has started.

Western Mediterranean Exporters' Association (BAİB), Denizli Exporters' Association (DENİB), Eastern Anatolian Exporters' Association (DAİB), and Eastern Black Sea Exporters' Association (DKİB) are participating in the fair with a joint booth area.

Concurrently with the fair, a large trade delegation consisting of Turkish businesspeople, coordinated by the Ministry of Trade, is also present in Damascus within the scope of the fair. DENİB Secretary General Uğur Dayıoğlu is participating in the events during which cooperation opportunities between the two countries are being evaluated.

DENİB President Hüseyin Memişoğlu, commenting on the fair, stated the following:

“At the Damascus International Fair, one of the most established fairs of the Middle East, we have taken our place with a joint booth area together with other exporters' associations. The revival of trade relations between Türkiye and Syria and the strengthening cooperation are opening new doors for the exporters of our region.

We believe that this fair, opening its doors for the 62^nd time, will contribute to deepen the commercial ties and laying the groundwork for lasting cooperation between Türkiye and Syria and, I wish the fair to be productive for all participants.”
