Denizli Exporters Association Participates in Hometex Exhibiton 2023

At Hometex 2023 — Home Textiles Exhibition held at the Istanbul Expo Center between May 16-20, 2023, a total of 102 member companies of Denizli Exporters Association (DENIB), 96 from Denizli and 6 from Uşak, are exhibitors. DENIB participates the exhibition with info stand as well. At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Hüseyin Memişoğlu, President of DENIB, stated the following:

"We represent our sector by participating once again in Hometex 2023 Exhibition, which hosts the world's leading companies in the home textile sector being organized for the 27^th time this year. Our home textile sector presents the experience from our past in trade, quality, and the difference created in design to appreciation of buyers. On the other hand, our member companies introduce sustainable products they produce by blending current trends with innovation in the light of "eco-friendly materials" to international buyers.

Denizli Exports to 185 Countries with Approximately 5 Billion Dollars

President Hüseyin Memişoğlu, evaluating the export figures:

"Home textiles is the most important sector in Denizli, exporting approximately 5 billion dollars in nearly 3,100 product groups to 185 countries in 2022. Half of our country's home textile exports exceeding 3 billion dollars are realized from Denizli.         

75% of our country's total towel exports, 65% of total bathrobe exports, and 55% of total duvet covers are exported from Denizli in terms of sub group analysis. In these three product groups, we export approximately 1 billion dollars annually. This data serves as an important indicator of Denizli's strength, deep-rooted history, and export potential in the home textile sector.

18 New International Programs from Denizli Exporters Association

Stating that 2023 is a year in which members meet with international buyers in an intense way, the President of the DENIB said, "As the Denizli Exporters Association, we carried out 18 international promotion programs in the last year, including this Exhibiton. We continue our efforts to increase the worldwide recognition of our member companies in various sectors. Therefore, I extend my hope for Hometex 2023 to be a fruitful and productive exhibition for all participants. Our colleagues at DENIB will be ready on-site during the exhibition to provide all kinds of support. Lastly, I'd like to reiterate that our member companies are welcome organize their meetings in DENIB booth."
