Buyer Mission from Denizli Exporters Association for Textile Machinery Cluster

With the aim of increase in exports, finding new markets and promoting our country economically and commercially, buyer Mission program for Bangladesh, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iran, Macedonia, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Serbia and Tunisia for the textile machinery sector is organized simultaneously with the Fashion Tech Izmir - Ready-to-Wear, Garment and Textile Machines, Textile Printing Technologies Fair between 12-15 October 2022 with the support of the Ministry of Trade and the organization of Denizli Exporters Association.

Textile machinery exporters of Denizli and company representatives attending from various countries are conducting B2B meetings for two days at İZFAŞ Expo.

Denizli exporter companies participating in the mission stated that the B2B meetings are very productive and the activities are organized specifically for the sector expand their international competitiveness and also raises the export awareness in the sector to higher levels.

Importing companies emphasized the quality of Denizli textile machinery and underlined that Denizli is competing with the leading regions of the world in this field and that the sector is getting stronger day by day.

"We are aware of the importance of the machinery sector"

Denizli Exporters Association President, Hüseyin Memişoğlu, commenting on the program, pointed out Denizli's machinery exports reached 6 million dollars with 30% increase in September and it's positive seperation with this increase:

"The machinery is a leverage effect creating sector for our other sectors. When evaluated at this point, the development of the sector positively effects our city both in terms of manufacturing and exports.

Denizli textile machinery export constitutes 25 percent of our total exports in machinery and components sector.

We attach great importance to buyers' mission and international activities to strengthen the exporter structure of the sector. Within the scope of this event, we invited more than 100 participants from 9 countries to Izmir and provided B2B meetings with our exporters.

Leading importer companies from Bangladesh, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iran, Macedonia, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Serbia and Tunisia are participating in the event.

At this point, we would like to thank İZFAŞ, with which we cooperate in the organization of the buyer mission.

As Denizli Exporters Association, we supported our mining sector at the Marmomac Fair, organized for the natural stone sector in Italy, at the end of September.

We also promoted our machinery sector thanks to this mission. In the following period, we will continue our international sourcing meetings and activities for other sectors with full effort."
